Kipon N/G-SL adapter ring is designed for the Leica L camera, allowing Nikon G mount lenses to be mounted onto Leica L camera bodies. 
Nikon G lenses typically cannot control aperture manually, only the camera bodies can be used to control the aperture. However, after mounted this adapter, the silver aperture control ring on the adapter can be used to adjust lens aperture. Nikon F series manual lenses can also be mounted on this adapter although only lens aperture manual control will be available.
With KIPON N/G-SL adapter ring, although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, and other functions will not work. Only manual model will be available when using KIPON N/G-SL adapter.
