KIPON Baveyes HB-XD 0.62x is specially designed for Hasselblad V lenses, allowing V mount lenses to be mounted onto Hasselblad XD cameras with 44x33 sensor. The built-in 0.62x optical system is perfectly matched to the image field of the V mount lens, eliminating any image loss caused by the crop factor and maintaining the diagonal field of view without vignetting.
HB-XD 0.62x was jointly developed by KIPON and the Module 8 team. This excellent optic system was designed by Iain Neil, "an optic designer for Hollywood" who has won 13 times Academy Award®.
1.5 stop brighter
By reducing the focal length of the lens, HB-XD 0.62x increases light transmission, effectively increasing the aperture. The depth of field is more blurred.
0.62x wider
HB-XD 0.62x reduces the focal length by 0.62, the effective length becomes shorter so that the shooting range is larger. It allows the V mount lens view angle to be restored perfectly on the camera sensor.
